Modular Arts Helps Accent Showcase Realty’s Brand in Uptown Charlotte

Studio Fusion’s Recent Office Upfit Exceeds Expectations

Showcase Realty, LLC. is increasingly growing and recently found the need to expand their existing office space in Uptown Charlotte. With the help of Barringer Construction, Studio Fusion completed a modern and unique space for Showcase, within schedule. By updating the office space, Showcase’s main objective was to create a more modern space that would “showcase” their brand. With an existing mezzanine level and “touch down” work stations, Studio Fusion worked with new finishes to modernize the space. Finishes, such as an award-winning design carpet tile, larger scale floor tiles and natural stone surfaces, were incorporated throughout the office to update the work environment and meet the needs of their busy, on-the-go realtors.

The modularArts InterlockingRock Panels, utilized in the reception area, makes any clients’ jaw drop as they walk through the doors. Since the existing reception space was at a smaller scale than most upfits, the interior design team needed a design element that would give a large visual impact without taking up a lot of room. The pattern “Dune” in the color purple was incorporated from a basis of the curves in Showcase Realty’s brand logo.

Another main design element that was used to modernize the space was LBL Lighting – Piattini, which incorporates Swarovski crystals in the lights.

1970′s Manufacturing Building Transformed into Modern Work Space

Project Profile: Ingersoll Rand Corporate Headquarters
47,479 Square footagee   |  Davidson, North Carolina
Completed on an accelerated schedule, the transformation of a former 1970s manufacturing building into office space help ease a lack of real estate on Ingersoll Rand’s corporate campus and executive headquarters. The client desired to create a more innovative and collaborative space for the employees that would also allow future spacing flexibility. To stay in live with the client’s corporate mission of safety, comfort, and efficiency, we created an airy, modern space using LEED tenance as a guiding principle.

The proverbial walls came down as the change management piece of the project were as important as the design of the space itself. Much was done on the front end of the schedule to communicate the improvements that were going to be made and that would positively affect the atmosphere of the “pioneers” who were willing to trust the vision of the team for something so different for their Headquarter’s campus.
With the addition of a mezzanine level, ceiling-to-floor windows, a sky light and several other interior additions, this manufacturing space quickly turned into a modern office environment that Ingersoll Rand’s Executives were fighting over.

We are thrilled with the space and the flow of the design.  The project was on-time and on-budget, which is a true testament to the professionalism of Studio Fusion.  This initial success led us to retain them to work on the renovation of the office building at our manufacturing facility here in Charlotte.  All of us at Lance have enjoyed our ongoing working relationship with this exceptionally creative firm.”
